DoubleTree by Hilton Virginia Beach

We stayed here because my daughter had a dance competition at the convention center, which is a quick 5 minute walk! We had a very enjoyable experience at this hotel, especially because of the excellent customer service. PJ went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. He was kind and courteous. Hope and Valeria at the front desk were also friendly and helpful. Kim at the restaurant provided exceptional service with such a big smile on her face - she is so genuine, nice, and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. We were attending a sports event across the street at the Virginia Beach Sports Center and the location of this DoubleTree made it convenient to prepare for and attend the event! The staff were polite, attentive and professional. Some of the pillows in our room needed replacing since they had an unpleasant dog-like odor, which makes some sense in a dog-friendly hotel. The staff was quick to remedy the issue and brought fresh pillows to our door. We ended up needing to extend our stay and they were very helpful in finding a way to accommodate us. Breakfast was convenient, the shuttle to the beach was helpful and dinner at the Cardinal was delicious! Thank you for a great experience!

Great clean hotel with great atmosphere. The desk clerks as well as hotel employees are extremely welcoming and friendly. The price of the rates were inflated for the 4th of July weekend and a week later the rates are more than $200 less a night than what we paid for 5 rooms. Only negative issue experienced was an encounter with one of the restaurant staffers in regards to a soft drink taken from my room into the patio area of the hotel.
