Alfa Suites Montevideo

It was a great stay at Alfa Suites! The room bed, and toilet are comfortable. Though slightly aged, but I did not find any issue during my stay. Service from the front desk and housekeeping are superb too. With close proximity to tres cruces bus station ( just 3 mins walk), this hotel is really suitable if you need to take the bus next day. Best thing is the price per night is really cheap. I think this hotel has the best value in Montevideo due to everything it offers.

Avoid! Hotel charged me double. Told me the hotels.com payment hadnt been sent although money had been withdrawn and i showed them confirmation. Didnt allow me to stay before paying extra. They said they would sort it immedietaly, now its been 3 weeks and they arent responding.

Our booking was cancelled on the day of arrival, because the card I provided was „not accepted“. I provided both visa and mastercard with sufficient funds on them. However, after the cancellation, I wanted to book again for the same dates, but the hotel was „fully booked“. It was the first time having this kind pf problem, even if I booked hundreds of hotels through the same platform and I always used in different countries the same cards I provided also for Alfa Suites. Most probably they overbooked the hotel and now cancelled some of the stays. Also, after writing several messages and e-mails, I did not get any answer from their side.
