Authentic Hanoi Boutique Hotel

Great, everything is perfect. Location is very central, very near a lot of shops. Breakfast is nice, the view from restaurant is very beautiful. Sandy the manager and her team are very accommodating. Room is clean too

Such a friendly staffs. Manager Sandy & staffs are very helpful. As I’m traveled alone with my toddler, the offer helps to ease my journey. Frequently checked on me whether everything is fine. I feel welcomed and I’m glad I booked to stay there❣️

Location of the hotel is amazing so close to all the shops, lake and Beer Street Downside, we booked a city view room, which on first walking in looked ok, lovely touch of the towel swans in the bed. On further looking around the room it looked to have had a leak which had lifted some of the flooring, which was a little unsafe. Also shower in the bath flooded the floor each time you had a shower. Because we checked in late in the evening we decided to check out the sites and sounds around the hotel, which are amazing, but upon returning to our room discovered the air conditioner did not work. We called down to reception and informed them, they told us to wait a minute and hung up on us. We waited 10 minutes with no response. Hubby then went down to reception to inform them again and they came back with a pedestal fan, it helped to cool the room a little but not satisfactory since we paid for air conditioner room. In the morning we went downstairs again to see if anything was going to be done, receptionist wasn't very helpful, not sure if she understood what we were saying. Hotel manager Sandy stepped in and we explained again about air con. She apologised and said to leave with her she will get sorted, after hubby said he wasn't happy with the service already received. So we went to go and have breakfast on 11th floor. Upon entering the lift the doors suddenly closed on me almost crushing me, hubby has to push me through I have now ended up with bad bruising to my wrist and shoulder. Up to breakfast. Well not to standards we have previously had, it was ok but not the best. Our last morning we decided to find a Cafe on the street which was much nicer. Now back to room, we were going out for the day after speaking with Sandy and she informed us she will upgrade us to a suite which was a 10 out 10 compared to the previous room. Much nicer, cleaner and free from any lifting floorboards and broken air conditioner! Thank you Sandy this made our stay much nicer. Hubby did do a review but was stood over to make a good one so this is an honest review of our stay.
