Somerset Chancellor Court Ho Chi Minh City

This is a great hotel/appartment option for families (or anyone for that matter). It is in walkimg distance to all the major tourist attractions and lost of restaurants as well as coffee houses close by. If you do not want to walk you can order a grab quickly. The gym is good for a hotel and clean. It had dumbells and a small circuit plus rower, stationary bike, stairmaster and running machine. The pool is a bit run down but it was clean and great for a dip on the hot days. Temperature of the water was luke warm. The appartments are spacious and have everything you need. I did not cook but it looked like it had everything. Water was provided and refills provided at no charge. Staff was friendly and helpful

We stayed in two different rooms: a large apartment with a balcony and a smaller room without one. The smaller room had four-layer windows, making it completely silent inside despite the busy city outside. Our apartment didn’t have the same insulation, so we could hear the lively street sounds, but we were so tired every night it didn’t bother us. The rooms were huge, the views were beautiful, and the service was excellent with very friendly staff. A great stay overall!

The bed was quite hard and sheets seem not clean as it was itchy to sleep on. Otherwise great location and clean amenities though rather outdated. Room for improvement
